Expressway will pass through 56 villages of UP, good news for the people!

News Desk. The development of roads and infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh is going to get a new impetus. The state government has taken a major step towards construction of a new link expressway to connect Ganga Expressway with Yamuna Expressway and Jewar Airport. This proposed link expressway will pass through 56 villages of Bulandshahr district, which will open new opportunities for employment, investment and mobility for the local people.

Budget released for land acquisition

Yogi government has approved a total estimated cost of Rs 1734 crore for this ambitious project. Out of this, Rs 995 crore has been released as the first installment. This amount has been approved for the financial year 2025-26. The government has instructed the concerned officials to complete the land acquisition process by March 2026, so that the construction work can start on time.

Easy journey from Meerut to Jewar Airport

With the construction of this link expressway, it will become much easier to reach Jewar International Airport from Meerut and surrounding areas. Now people will not have to travel a long and complicated route, rather they will get direct connectivity from Ganga Expressway to Yamuna Expressway via Bulandshahr and then to Jewar Airport.

Greenfield Expressway and modern development

Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEDA) will develop this project on greenfield model. This 74.3 kilometer long link expressway will be built on the lines of Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. There are plans to develop more than 10 residential and industrial sectors on both sides, which will boost urbanization and industrial activities in the area.

Complete route and land use of this link expressway

This link expressway will start from 44.3 kilometer point of Ganga Expressway, i.e. Siyana area of ​​Bulandshahr and connect to 24.8 kilometer point of Yamuna Expressway, near Sector-21 Film City. About 740 acres of land from about 16 villages will be acquired for this project, which is estimated to cost about Rs 1246 crore.
