New Delhi: Spain’s Carlos Sainz won the Mexico City Grand Prix on Sunday at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. He was ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris and Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc, who finished second and third, respectively, in the competition.
The talk of the Grand Prix was much around Red Bull’s Max Verstappen being sanctioned with two 10-second penalty (20 seconds of penalty in total) for over-aggressive driving in the initial stage of the race, leading to a couple of bruising incidents involving Norris.
