Facebook Update- No one will be able to copy-paste the content of Facebook post, know complete details

Friends, as we all know that Facebook is the most popular social media app of today’s modern era, which has billions of users, to maintain the privacy of its users, Meta has come up with a new feature, an important step has been taken to control the growing problem of copied and fake content. The company has introduced new tools and updated content guidelines for Facebook to better protect the original work of creators. With these new features, creators can now more easily report copied or attributed content through a centralized dashboard. Let us know its complete details

New reporting dashboard for creators

Meta has launched a centralized reporting dashboard for creators on Facebook. With this tool, creators can quickly identify and flag posts that other users have copied or shared in their name.

Previously, creators had to file separate complaints for each post they wanted to report. Now, they can lodge multiple complaints from one place.

Clear definition of original content

Meta has also updated Facebook’s content policies to clarify what is considered “original content.” According to the new guidelines, any content that is directly filmed, created or produced by a creator will be considered original.

Videos or reels that remix pre-existing content, but add something new—such as analysis, commentary, or additional information—can also be considered original.

AI-generated content and the challenge of deepfakes

Despite new detection tools, identifying AI-generated deepfake videos still remains a challenge. Even if someone creates a deepfake using the identity or appearance of a creator, it may be difficult to take immediate action against them.
