Faf du Plessis ruled out for remainder of SA20 after thumb ligament tear
NEW DELHI: Joburg Super Kings suffered a massive blow in the SA20 league when their skipper Faf du Plessis was ruled out of the remainder of the season due to a finger injury.
The 40-year-old Du Plessis sustained the injury in his latest clash against MI Cape Town on January 10 during a diving effort. The incident left him in pain and eventually forced him to miss the rest of the tournament.
In a social media post, JSK shared their message regarding the skipper:
All our love with you, skipper. 💛
Faf du Plessis has been ruled out of the remainder of the SA20 season after suffering a right thumb ligament tear requiring surgical repair. Our best wishes are with you. motiv pi.wte.oh/pQYK0
