After this controversy, an official clarification was finally issued by the Union Public Service Commission. On the basis of its records, the Commission made it clear that the real candidate who got rank 301 in the Civil Services Exam 2025 is Akanksha Singh from Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.

According to the commission, his roll number is 0856794. His father’s name is Ranjit Singh and mother’s name is Neelam Singh. His address is given as village Abhaypur, district Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. The commission also said that this information is recorded in its official records and the confirmation has been done on the basis of the same.

Two aspirations claimed 301

After the result was declared, Akanksha Singh of Ara, Bihar said that she worked hard and this was her second attempt. She said that she studied for several hours every day and was confident that she would be successful this time. Meanwhile, Akanksha Singh of Ghazipur posted on Facebook that someone else was using her rank and identity.

He also shared his ID card and UPSC e-summon in his post. He claims that he is the real candidate and his name is being misused. Both the women had their documents and were making strong claims. Due to this, questions began to arise in people’s minds about the truth.

There was an uproar on social media

After the clarification by UPSC, it became clear which candidate’s rank was 301, but this whole matter created a lot of uproar for some time. People reacted differently to this incident on social media. Some people linked it to fraud and some called it a shocking incident.
