How the fraud was committed: The Health Department received information from a candidate that recruitment has been organized in the district. In this, recruitment has been done for 111 posts in the district. Apart from this, fake recruitment has been done on 109 posts in Gonda, 99 in Pratapgarh, 120 in Ghazipur and 100 in Ballia. Fraudsters made a link of this recruitment viral online. In this, the last date of application for recruitment in various districts was stated to be 31 December and the date of interview was 23 February 2026. Many people also applied through the link. A fee of Rs 300 was also deposited from the youth for the application.
Such open polls: Many candidates including Soni Tripathi, Nikhil of Basti district were waiting for recruitment after depositing the prescribed fee of Rs 300. Meanwhile, one of these candidates called the health department and asked for information in this regard. It was found that the Health Department has not made any such recruitment. The officers of the department told the candidates that one post of LT was to be filled in Bahadurpur CHC for which offline applications have been taken. The last date for its application has ended. Apart from this, no recruitment has been done in the district. After this there was a stir in the health department. Investigation into the matter has been started.
Mention of pay scale along with posts in fake recruitment: Candidates told the Health Department that in the link through which they have applied, applications have been invited for a total of 111 posts including 10 posts of LT, 13 of Staff Nurse, 8 of Pharmacist, 9 of Care Taker, 15 of Ward Boy, 7 of Sales Manager, 8 of Clerk, 12 of Security Guard, 10 of Ambulance Driver and 7 of Peon. Like government recruitment, there is mention of pay scale as well. Falling prey to the fraudsters, the candidates applied for these posts and also deposited Rs 300 as fees.
CMO said, will take legal action: Regarding this, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rajeev Nigam said that the recruitment for 111 posts for the health department in the district is completely fake. There is no vacancy anywhere else in the district. An investigation is being conducted in connection with the fraud. Legal action will be taken.
