One such case has come to light from Patna Junction in Bihar, where a vlogger made a video of himself posing as a fake ticket checker (TTE) and roaming around the station and taking money from passengers.
In the video, the young man claims that he has set out to see how much money can be earned in a day by becoming a fake TTE. While roaming around the station dressed like a railway uniform, he talked to many people and himself told that he took Rs 200 and Rs 500 from some passengers. This video quickly went viral on social media.

In the video, the young man is also seen saying that despite the presence of real TTE and police at the station, people were considering him as the real officer. This alleged ‘earnings’ of the day. While showing it he claimed that he got around Rs 1200. At the end of the video, he jokingly asked people how much a real TTE would earn in a day.
However, this joke was not liked by social media users and railway officials. Many people called it an act of misguiding the public by impersonating a government employee. People say that such content affects the image of railway employees and may also raise questions on the safety of passengers.
