Fiancé Siya Goyal’s lies were exposed when the police thoroughly investigated her mobile and did not find any picture of the incident in it. The revelation of the conspiracy of Sia and her partner Chetan Chaudhary, who pushed Ketan into a 400 feet deep ditch, is no less than a film script. Fiancee’s changing statement and police’s suspicion: After Ketan’s death, his fiancee Siya Goyal fabricated a story in front of the police that her foot slipped while taking photographs. But Sia’s repeatedly changing statements confirmed the police’s suspicions. Sometimes he said that he fell, and sometimes he claimed that he fell into the ditch while giving a water bottle. According to Inspector Dinesh Tayde, there were persistent contradictions in Sia’s statements, following which the police initiated a technical investigation to get to the bottom of the matter. The ‘face’ of the conspiracy revealed through CCTV footage. The biggest clue in this murder case came from the CCTV footage of Lohagarh Fort. In the footage, a masked man (Chetan Chaudhary) was seen chasing the couple. Investigation revealed that the accused Chetan wore a hoodie to hide his identity and he passed by the ticket counter as if he did not care about anyone. The guard of the fort also told that he had lied at the time of entry by saying that he had come for exercise, and he completed the climb up and down the fort in just 50 minutes, which is impossible for any ordinary tourist. The script of the murder was already ready. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Gajanan, the murder was being planned for several days. Accused Siya Goyal and his partner Chetan Chaudhary were fully prepared to carry out this crime. Earlier, Sia had torn Ketan’s passport and thrown it in the toilet so that Ketan’s proposed ‘Bali pre-wedding trip’ got canceled as Ketan was against the trip. When the fiance and his partner found a deserted place and pushed Ketan into a 400 feet deep ditch, they thought that they would easily mislead the police, but CCTV and digital evidence ruined their entire story. The complaint of Ketan’s family has raised hopes of justice by registering a murder case in this matter.
