Family dispute took a dangerous turn in Bahraich, condition of father and daughter critical due to fire in the house

Bahraich: In Nanpara area of ​​Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh, two youths on Thursday allegedly set fire to their uncle's thatched house due to a family dispute, causing serious burn injuries to the home owner and his daughter.

Giving information about this incident, the police said that the father and daughter have been sent to Lucknow Trauma Center for treatment. Nanpara Kotwali in-charge Inspector Pradeep Singh told the media that this morning information was received about a house being set on fire in Agaiya village of Nanpara Kotwali area, after which the police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot and controlled the fire, but by then the fire in the house was not over. Owner Rampher (45) and his daughter Poonam (18) were seriously burnt.

Let us tell you that along with this, most of the household items were also burnt. Rampher and Poonam, who sustained serious burn injuries in the incident, were sent to Bahraich Medical College, from where they have been referred to Lucknow Trauma Centre. Nanpara Kotwali in-charge Inspector Pradeep Singh said that according to the family, Rampher had a dispute with his nephew Rakesh a day earlier. Due to this, Rakesh along with his cousin Gangaram set fire to his house.

Inspector in-charge said that a case has been registered against the victim Rampher's nephew Rakesh and cousin Gangaram, who live in his neighbourhood, on charges of murderous attack, arson in a residential house and threatening to kill. Police is searching for both the accused.
