King Mystery Mr Dead: Mexican wrestling legend Rey Mysterio Sr. has died at the age of 66. He was the uncle of WWE star Rey Mysterio Jr. Mysterio first came to prominence as a part of the Lucha Libre scene in Mexico, winning titles with organizations including the World Wrestling Association and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, seen by many as WWE's Lucha Libre counterpart.
Used to compete with The Great Khali and John Cena
Rey Mysterio Sr. may be short in height but in the ring he was seen giving competition to greats like The Great Khali and John Cena. Even for these big players, it was not easy to defeat Rey Mysterio Sr. His fighting technique was quite brilliant.

Lucha Libre AAA said in a statement, “We mourn the passing of Miguel Angel Lopez Dias, better known as Rey Mysterio Sr. We express our heartfelt condolences to his family and pray for the peace of his soul.” Rey Mysterio Sr.'s family confirmed his death on December 20.

Rey Mysterio Sr. officially left WWE wrestling in 2009. His legacy was carried forward in WWE by his nephew Rey Mysterio Jr.
