New Delhi. Upcoming horror-comedy film of famous Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar ‘Bhoot Bungalow’ The trailer of has been launched on 6th April. Along with Akshay, Paresh Rawal will also be seen in an important role in this film. The audience was showing great curiosity for this film directed by Priyadarshan.

Mixed reactions on the trailer

As soon as the trailer was released, various reactions from the audience emerged on social media. While some fans were happy with Akshay’s comic style and presence, many expressed dissatisfaction with the use of old jokes and dialogues in the film. Audiences also criticized the VFX and the film’s originality.

One user wrote, “Make something new. Same script as ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ and same old dialogues—’Behen Dar Gaye Behen Dar Gaye’, ‘Hum Koi Mandir Ka Ghanta Hain.'” Another questioned, “Is this a film or just a meme template?” Many people said that the trailer seems to be a mix of dialogues and memes from old films.

In the trailer, Akshay Kumar is shown becoming the heir of a bungalow, behind which exists a dangerous forest ‘Vampire Forest’. Many ghosts live in this forest. Paresh Rawal keeps warning, but Akshay decides to get married in the bungalow without listening. In the end, Akshay inadvertently wakes up ‘Vadhusur’. The trailer has been viewed millions of times so far.

The film’s release was earlier scheduled for April 10, but has now been postponed to April 17. Paid previews will start on April 16 at 9 pm.
