The latest episode of Lock Upp 2 witnessed a tense judgment day as hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh reprimanded contestants over their conduct inside the reality show.
The spotlight fell on the heated clash between Akanksha Choudhary and Shreya Kalra, with Farah strongly objecting to Akanksha’s remarks about destroying Shreya’s career.
Farah Questions Akanksha’s Remarks
Addressing the contestants, Farah criticised the repeated confrontations involving Shreya but reserved her strongest comments for Akanksha’s statement claiming she could ruin someone’s career.
Speaking during the episode, Farah said she had spent more than three decades in the film industry, worked with numerous actors and launched several stars, yet had never claimed to make or destroy anyone’s career.
She then asked Akanksha directly, questioning her authority to make such claims and remarked that the only career a person could damage through such behaviour was their own.
Akanksha Clarifies Her Statement
Responding to the criticism, Akanksha said her earlier comments referred to an incident involving a fellow contestant from Splitsvilla X6, where she believed the other participant had faced heavy online trolling after their dispute.
Shreya Kalra, however, challenged Akanksha’s explanation during the exchange, saying the clarification contradicted her earlier claims.
Following the confrontation, the hosts directed Akanksha to the punishment jail as a disciplinary action.
Govinda Joins the Show to Support Sunita Ahuja
The episode also featured a special appearance by actor Govinda, who entered the show after his wife, Sunita Ahuja, decided to leave due to health concerns.
Sunita informed the hosts that her diabetes was not under control and said she was also experiencing menopause-related health issues, including breathing difficulties, prompting her decision to exit the reality show.
Adding a lighter moment to the emotional episode, Govinda joked that his friends had been sending him clips of Sunita arguing inside the house, saying he was accustomed to her outspoken nature.
Sunita also reflected on her experience, saying the show helped her realise that family matters should remain private, while Govinda expressed hope that they would move forward positively together.
