Suspected terrorist murdered in Faridabad jail, was involved in the conspiracy to bomb Ram Temple

Haryana News: A case of murder of a suspected terrorist has come to light in Neemka jail located in Faridabad, Haryana. Abdul Rehman was murdered inside the jail by being attacked with a sharp weapon. This incident happened late on Monday night at around 2 o’clock. The murder charge has been leveled against fellow prisoner Arun Chaudhary.

The deceased was involved in this big conspiracy

According to the police and jail administration, Abdul Rehman was involved in the conspiracy to bomb the Ram temple. He is said to be a resident of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. He was arrested on March 2, 2025 in a joint action by Gujarat ATS and Haryana STF. Since then he was lodged in Neemka jail of Faridabad.

That’s why Arun Chaudhary was arrested

Accused Arun Chaudhary was also arrested in cases related to terrorist activities. He was shifted to Neemka jail in October 2024. According to initial information, Arun Chaudhary attacked Abdul Rehman with a sharp weapon, due to which he died on the spot.

What was Abdul’s background?

Talking about the background of Abdul Rehman, he was a resident of Majnai area of ​​Ayodhya. He used to drive an e-rickshaw and also helped in his father’s chicken shop. Initially he used to use YouTube and Facebook on his mother’s mobile phone. During this time, he started watching videos related to the atrocities being committed on Taliban, Islamic State and Muslim community.

Started making fake guns

Inspired by these videos, he started making fake guns and posting their pictures on Instagram. Many of his Instagram IDs were created, but they kept getting blocked again and again.

The process of brainwashing started again

In the year 2023, he was contacted on Instagram with an ID named Altaf. During the conversation, ideas related to Jihad were shared and gradually he was brainwashed. A person claiming to be associated with the Islamic State of Khorasan shifted her to Telegram and asked her to record videos and speeches for the organization.

Questions are being raised on security arrangements

After this murder inside the jail, serious questions have been raised on the security arrangements. At present the jail administration and police are investigating the matter. It is also being ascertained whether the murder was related to the terrorist network or the result of some mutual rivalry.
