On April 18, the family was searching on the banks of a drain near Mohla village. Then both the dogs suddenly ran towards the bushes and started barking loudly. According to the information, accused Paramjeet reached Anita’s house on April 15 on the pretext of giving her a gas cylinder and then took her with him on a bike in the name of paying the electricity bill. He brutally murdered them on the way.

After the murder, the accused, along with his father Jagminder Dagar, threw the body in a drain filled with hyacinth, so that no one would get a clue. But the loyalty of the dogs foiled his plan.

According to the police, the accused father Jagminder Dagar has been arrested and the court has sent him to judicial custody. However, the main accused Paramjeet is still absconding and the police are continuously conducting raids in search of him.
