Patna: A farmer has been shot dead in broad daylight in the capital Patna. Sensation spread after the murder of 40-year-old Kushesar Yadav alias Gorelal near Kaima village of Sahasohra police station area of Barh sub-division. Angered by the murder, people created ruckus by blocking roads and arson.

According to the relatives of the deceased, on December 30, Gorelal had gone with his brother-in-law to look at the land for sale in the village’s Tall. Then three criminals riding a bike, who were ambushed from the east, started firing indiscriminately at Gorelal. Due to which Gorelal was shot twice and seriously injured.

Shot in head and shoulder: Immediately Gorelal was admitted to Barh Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment. Where the doctor referred Gorelal to Higher Center Patna for better treatment after first aid in his critical condition. He died during treatment there today. Gorelal was shot on the head and shoulder.

People created a ruckus: As soon as the information about the death was received, the angry villagers raised questions on the working style of the police, kept the body on the road and set fire to it, blocking the Patna-Nalanda road for half an hour. As soon as information about the jam was received, Saksohara Police Station Head Dalbal reached the spot and after a lot of effort, took possession of the dead body and removed the jam and assured to arrest the culprits soon. During this time, the relatives of the deceased were seen holding the hands and legs of the police station officer on the road and pleading for justice.
