Farmer’s luck shines, 3.39 carat gem quality diamond found

The thing to note is that on Tuesday itself two friends had found a big diamond of 15.34 carats, and the very next day this new success was registered. The diamonds will now be put up for auction in an upcoming government auction, where their final price is likely to rise further.

Rajendra Singh Bundela told that he was seriously affected by paralysis one and a half years ago. Amidst illness and economic crisis, he somehow raised capital and applied for a mining lease in March 2025. In June, he got the lease of the mine in the lottery and after just six months of hard work, he made his fortune.

He said, “God has blessed me. I will invest the entire auction amount back in the mine, so that the hope of finding bigger diamonds increases.” Bundela’s aim is that in future his name can be recorded on the top in the list of the biggest gems found in the Panna diamond region.
