On Thursday, fast track immigration process will be started for passengers at many major airports of India. It has been said that this process will be started for pre-verified Indian citizens and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holders for 7 airports including Mumbai and Chennai.
Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate
It has been informed that 'Fast Track Immigration' will be inaugurated by Home Minister Amit Shah. It was informed on Wednesday that it will be started on Thursday at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin and Ahmedabad airports.
In fact, FTI-TTP was launched in the year 2024 itself on June 22 at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), New Delhi. This initiative has been started under the vision 'Viksit Bharat'@2047 to provide world class immigration facility to the passengers. This will ease the travel process and save time for passengers.
