Alcohol addiction and daily troubles became the reason for murder

The story that has emerged during police interrogation points towards increasing family violence in the society. The accused teenager told that his father Ramkaran Rawat (47) was addicted to drinking alcohol excessively. He not only spent his hard-earned money on alcohol, but also sold household items to pay for alcohol. When he returned home drunk, he would often brutally beat Kishore’s mother and children. The entire family was suffering mental and physical torture for a long time due to these actions of the father.

When the dispute escalated, he lost his temper and hit him hard on the head.

Even on the day of the incident, Ramkaran reached home under the influence of alcohol and started abusing and fighting with his family members.
