Bikaner, 26 October (HS). Chief General Manager Vikram Malviya and General Manager Finance Chunni Lal Swami of BSNL Rajasthan Telecom Circle, Jaipur remained on a two-day tour of Bikaner commercial telecom area and participated in various programs.
Giving this information, BSNL Bikaner General Manager OP Khatri said that Chief General Manager Malviya held a meeting with the franchisees, TIP and officials of BSNL in the conference room of the office of Bikaner business area situated in Public Park and heard about their problems and took steps to solve them. Malviya also stressed on increasing the OLT wise connections so that the revenue increases and also on making the consumers aware about the plans of BSNL. Apart from Bikaner, FENCHAI, TIP and officials of Sriganganagar and Nagaur also participated in the meeting.
Chief General Manager Vikram Malviya launched the Fiber OLT service of high-speed internet service in Jassusar Gate area of the urban area, which will provide the benefit of high-speed internet service to about 8-10,000 consumers of the urban area.
Malviya today launched Wi-Fi roaming service in Bikaner under which FTTH Wi-Fi customers of BSNL will be able to avail the fiber service of their residence or office at any other place without any extra charges.
Apart from this, Malviya visited Central Arid Horticulture Institute, Ganganagar Road, BSF Complex, Jaipur Road and held a meeting with their senior officials.
Representatives of various unions met Chief General Manager Vikram Malviya and gave memorandums about the problems related to employees and officers, to which the Chief General Manager assured to solve them soon at his level.
