Fierce dispute between groups in Patna, each accused of stabbing, one dead and two injured

There was a sensation in Patna City area on Monday afternoon when a dispute between two groups of students at Bhagat Singh Chowk took a violent turn. 25-year-old Bittu Kumar died in the knife fight that started after a minor altercation. While Rakesh Kumar and Ankit Kumar were seriously injured.

According to the information, as soon as information about the incident was received, Chowk police station reached the spot and started investigation. Here, after the death of the young man, there is chaos in his house and the family members are in deep shock.

Chowk police station in-charge Rajkishore Kumar said that on Monday, January 12, an incident of fighting took place during a dispute between two groups of boys in a street near the Chowk. In which one party attacked the other with a knife. A total of 3 people were injured in this incident. The injured were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, where a young man died during treatment.

The police took immediate action in the incident and on the basis of the evidence collected, the main illegal student involved in the incident has been detained. Besides, one mobile phone related to the incident has also been seized. FSL team has been called to collect scientific evidence from the spot. Other youths involved in the incident have been identified and continuous raids are being conducted to arrest them.
