FIFA gives peace award to President Trump, clip of Prime Minister Modi shown at the honor ceremony

New Delhi, 6 December. US President Donald Trump, who wanted to get the Nobel Peace Prize, finally got the Peace Prize. FIFA has given him this award. A ceremony was organized at the Kennedy Center in Washington to honor the US President. In this, Trump was honored with a gold trophy and medal.

Actually, Trump has been claiming for a long time that he stopped many wars. The US President had expressed his desire to give him the Nobel Peace Prize for his peace efforts, but this could not happen. Now FIFA has honored Trump with the Peace Award for his contribution in establishing peace in the world. FIFA has started giving peace awards from this year itself. This award is being given to those people who are contributing in establishing peace in the world and are working to connect people.

Before giving the award, a clip of Trump was also played at the ceremony, in which a glimpse of the US President’s diplomatic efforts as well as his conversations with leaders including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu was shown.

After receiving the FIFA Peace Prize, President Trump said, “This is really one of the great honors of my life. More important than the award is that we saved millions of lives. Congo is an example of this, where 10 million people were killed and as things stood, that number could have reached another 10 million soon, but we intervened and prevented that. We also helped prevent many conflicts including India-Pakistan.”

Trump said that it is a matter of pride for me that I have ended many global conflicts and in this context I also added my candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize. This year, there was a lot of demand from the US government to give Nobel Peace Prize to Trump. Trump himself also agreed to this. However, this year the Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize to María Corina Machado for her work promoting democratic rights for the Venezuelan people.
