The group stage in the FIFA World Cup 2026 has concluded. After 16 days of tremendous action, the picture of knockout has become clear. In the Round of 32, defending champion Argentina will face Cape Verde, who is playing for the first time in the World Cup. France, the last edition’s runner-up, will face Sweden in New Jersey.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s team Portugal played its last group match with Colombia in a goalless draw. Portugal finished second in Group K. In such a situation, now he will have to face 2018 runner up team Croatia on 3rd July. Five-time champion Brazil will face Japan.

Round of 32 will continue till July 4
The knockout round is starting from June 29. South Africa and Canada will clash in the first match. The last match of the Round of 32 will be played between Colombia and Ghana on July 4. Argentina also has a match on the same day.
