Fight in Azadnagar, five injured with knife and stick, police investigation
A fight broke out between two parties after a minor altercation in Azadnagar area. Five people were injured in the attack with knives and sticks. Police have registered the case and the accused are being searched. Police Japta is deployed in the area.
Rajasthan: A small incident created a tense situation near Azadnagar intersection in Bhilwara on Monday night. A teenager from Gandhinagar was passing through the street near Shiv Temple in Pratapnagar police station area at around 9:30 pm, when some local people stopped him without any reason. This started an argument between both the parties, which gradually escalated.

After the dispute, the teenager called his acquaintances and informed them about the incident. Within no time, about 15 to 20 youth from Gandhinagar area reached the spot. With so many people arriving together, the atmosphere became more tense.
Abuse started between the two parties, after which the situation went out of hand and the fight took a violent turn.
Attack with knives and sticks
According to the police, the dispute escalated over entry into the house of Chinu Dholi and Kallu, who live near the Shiva temple. It is alleged that during this period women were also assaulted. Within no time both the parties came face to face and were attacked with sticks and knives.
In this fight, Gandhinagar residents Avesh Rangrez, Tanveer Alam, Mohammad Arif and one or two people from the other party were seriously injured. After the incident, there was chaos in the area and people started running here and there.
Treatment continues in hospital
The police swung into action as soon as information about the fight and stabbing was received. Trainee IPS Ayush Shrotriya, DSP Bhavani Singh and Pratapnagar police station incharge Rajpal reached the spot and Mahatma Gandhi Hospital.
Police officials took information about the incident from the injured and controlled the situation. All the injured have been admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for treatment, where their condition is said to be stable at present.

Police have registered an FIR regarding the incident and started investigation. Recordings of CCTV cameras installed nearby are being watched to identify the accused. Police claim that soon all those responsible will be caught.
After the incident, a crowd of people had gathered in the area and the hospital. Additional police force has been deployed to deal with any untoward situation. At present there is peace in the area, but the police are continuously keeping a vigil.
