During this firing, two people were shot. Among the injured are Mohd Shamim Ansari alias Sheru and Mohd Aslam. Both have been referred to Dhanbad in critical condition. Sheru has been shot in the head, while Aslam has been shot in the leg. According to the information, as soon as the voting started in Ward 18, a dispute broke out between the two parties. There were intermittent clashes and fighting throughout the day, forcing the police to intervene several times.

The situation worsened when both the parties again came face to face in Azad Nagar locality in the last phase of voting. Within no time the matter turned violent and vandalism began. Many officers including SDM Shrikant Yashwant Vispute, Sadar SDPO Jeetvahan Oraon and police of Pachamba police station started controlling the situation. The injured were immediately brought to Sadar Hospital, where after first aid both of them were referred to SNMMCH Dhanbad.

During voting, SDPO Praveen Singh was attacked in Chas Municipal Corporation area of ​​Bokaro district. Police officers were injured in this incident. As soon as information about the incident was received, Bokaro Superintendent of Police Harvinder Singh reached the spot and took information about the entire matter.

While talking to the police captain, many women including the councilor candidate informed about the incident and also alleged that they were beaten up by the policemen. On the other hand, SDPO Praveen Singh says that a large number of people were present in the polling station premises, whereas as per the instructions of the Election Commission, unauthorized people are prohibited from staying within a radius of 100 meters from the booth. He said that when he took action to disperse the crowd, strong opposition started. He was attacked in this sequence.

SP Harvinder Singh said that an attempt was being made to conduct fake voting in favor of his candidate. Police is investigating the matter and an FIR will be registered against the accused and he will be sent to jail. The administration has made it clear that strict action will be taken against those who obstruct the election process.
