Why did this coaching institute come into trouble?
Action was taken against the coaching institute at several branches for violating license and safety rules. It is believed that after this action the decline of the coaching institute started. The annual income of teachers in the institute ranged between Rs 15 lakh to Rs 2 crore. Due to non-payment of salaries for several months, many teachers resigned from this institute simultaneously.
FIITJEE is accused of using its funds in other businesses besides coaching centres. After falling into financial trouble, both teachers and investors distanced themselves from the institute. FIITJEE reportedly has 72 centers in 41 cities and over 300 employees.
