Lucknow. Rangriti – Film Festival was organized at Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies (LPCPS) on Thursday. The program was organized by the Journalism Department of the institute. Deepak Kabir, founder Dastak Manch, social cultural entrepreneur Sangeeta Jaiswal, filmmaker and assistant professor Lucknow Polytechnic Dr. Neeraj Sachan, story writer and founder of Bewaja Gaurav Srivastava were present as chief guests in the program.

Short films made by students of National PG College, Jaipuria College, St. Joseph’s University Hyderabad, CTIIT Bangalore were screened in the film festival. Through which short films and documentaries were screened on girls’ education, child marriage, Chikankari of Lucknow, problems faced during menstruation. After this, certificates were awarded to all the film makers by the chief guests. In which Khushi, Anadi, Vignesh, Sharda, Hardik, Kavya, Shashank, Aishwarya, Jatin and John Abraham of St. Joseph University were prominent. Dean Academics L S Awasthi honored the chief guests with mementos and shawls. The program concluded with the vote of thanks by the Head of the Department, Dr. Neeraj Singh.
