M.G. Ramachandran (MGR)
MGR is a classic example of someone who converted his film fame into political influence and achieved amazing success. He was a popular personality who played tremendous roles in films. All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) founded. He was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for three consecutive terms from 1977 to 1987.
Jayalalitha
Jayalalitha started her acting career as a lead actress with MGR and followed his footsteps into politics and became one of the most influential political figures in Tamil Nadu. She served as Chief Minister several times and was known for her strong administrative style and social projects. Jayalalitha died on 5 December 2016 in Chennai.
M. Karunanidhi
M. Karunanidhi M Karunanidhi was a big name in Tamil Nadu politics. He started his career from the cinema world. He used to work in writing scripts. After this he entered the political world. He joined the Dravidian movement, which gave him recognition in the political world. After the death of DMK founder CN Annadurai, M. Karunanidhi became its leader and was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu five times.

Janaki Ramachandran
M.G. After Ramachandran’s death, Janaki Ramachandran became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for 23 days. He also started his career with films. He worked in about 25 films.
