Films made without actresses still ruled the hearts of the audience.

New Delhi . Generally in Bollywood, films are considered incomplete without hero and heroine, but from time to time, some such films have come out which completely changed this perception. There was no lead actress in these films, yet their story, acting and direction made them a big success. The audience accepted these films wholeheartedly and they performed brilliantly at the box office too.

The biggest feature of these films was that they proved that a strong script and strong performance are enough to make any film successful, whether it has a traditional heroine or not.

First of all, let’s talk about this OMG film which became very popular among the audience due to its unique story and social message. In the film, the pair of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal performed brilliantly and carried the entire film on their shoulders. Without any lead actress, this film proved to be a blockbuster and created new records of earnings.

After this comes the name of A Wednesday. It was a suspense thriller film which was directed by Neeraj Pandey. Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher gave such tremendous performances in the film that the audience remained glued to their seats till the end. The simplicity and strength with which the story of a common man was presented made this film memorable.

Taare Zameen Par is also a very special film in this list, although it showed emotional depth and the world of children, the chemistry of Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary in the film won the hearts of people. It was not easy to show a subject like dyslexia with such sensitivity but this film made it possible, that is why it also got three National Awards.

Dhamaal was a film which made the audience laugh a lot through comedy. Artists like Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey and Ashish Chaudhary together made the film completely entertaining. Without any lead actress, this film proved to be a big hit and is still counted among people’s favorite comedy films.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is an emotional story that revolves around the relationship between a father and son. Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani gave very simple but effective performances in it. The film shows how far a father can go to fulfill the dreams of his child. The film may not have been a huge hit but it was definitely successful in making a special place in the hearts of the audience.

All these films proved that cinema is not dependent only on glamor but a good story, strong acting and true emotions make a film a real success, that is why these films made without heroine are still remembered.
