Kia India has launched its much-awaited All-New Kia Seltos It has been officially launched in the Indian market. Consolidating its leadership in the mid-SUV segment, the ex-showroom price of this new generation Seltos starts at Rs 10.99 lakh.

Larger in size, more attractive in design and more technologically advanced, the second-generation Seltos is presented as the perfect package for Indian families and modern SUV consumers. With a length of 4,460 mm, width of 1,830 mm and a wheelbase of 2,690 mm, this SUV offers a spacious cabin.

In terms of design, the all-new Seltos is based on Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design principle, with new digital tiger face, automatic flush door handles, ice cube LED projection headlamps and 18-inch alloy wheels giving it a more premium look. The SUV is available in 10 monotone colors, with two new color options ‘Morning Haze’ and ‘Magma Red’.

Features

Inside the cabin, features like the segment-best 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display, premium Bose 8-speaker audio system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as Smart Key Proximity Unlock are offered. Besides, 10-way power driver seat, ventilated front seats and dual pan panoramic sunroof make the journey more comfortable.

Safety features

In terms of safety, the all-new Seltos is based on Kia’s new K3 global platform, offering 24 standard safety features, 6 airbags and Level-2 ADAS with 21 features. This makes driving in the city as well as on the highway safer and more confident.

Powertrain options include 1.5L petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines, with various transmission options available including 6MT, iMT, IVT, 7DCT and 6AT. The four main trims HTE, HTK, HTX and GTX/X-Line are also offered with customized packages.

Production of the SUV has started at the Kia plant in Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) and due to the extensive dealer network, customers are likely to get deliveries across the country soon. With attractive pricing, advanced technology and comprehensive features, the all-new Kia Seltos is expected to create a strong competition in the mid-SUV segment.
