Janadhikar Sangharsh Parishad (JSP) co-chairman Adarsh ​​Iyer had filed a complaint in the court demanding action against the Finance Minister.

According to media reports, Adarsh ​​Iyer had said in his complaint against the public representatives in Bengaluru that extortion was done through intimidation and intimidation through electoral bonds. In this matter, Jan Adhikar Sangharsh Parishad filed a petition in the 42nd ACMM Court in April last year against Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, ED officials, BJP National President JP Nadda, The complaint was lodged against BJP's then Karnataka president Nalin Kumar Kateel, other national leaders of the party, BY Vijayendra, central and state BJP offices.

The complaint claims that from April 2019 to August 2022, approximately Rs 230 crore was recovered from businessman Anil Agarwal's firm and Rs 49 crore from Aurobindo Pharmacy through electoral bonds. Hearing the petition filed in this case, the court has ordered Tilak Nagar Police Station of Bengaluru to register an FIR in the case of extortion through electoral bonds. The ACMM Court has issued an order and directed to send a copy of the complaint and records to the police station. Due to pending FIR, the hearing has been postponed till 10th.
