Financial conflicts revealed as the cause of Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy’s divorce

Citing 163, Znews reported that a blogger, also the founder of Zhengyi Group, disclosed details about the couple’s split during a live stream, sparking renewed public interest in their past relationship.

The blogger claimed that Huang had used his industry connections to help Angelababy secure various acting and entertainment roles after their marriage. The couple invested their earnings jointly, but differing financial strategies led to disputes. Sources also suggested that Huang faced investment losses at one point, further fueling arguments that ultimately led to their divorce.

Huang’s relationship with his current girlfriend, Ye Ke, has also been a topic of public interest. According to Yahoo, Ye was recently seen driving a Rolls-Royce, and her appearance hinted at a possible baby bump. A few days later, paparazzi spotted Huang accompanying her to a prenatal check-up.

Since their relationship became public in September, Ye has faced ongoing scrutiny, prompting her to apologize and step back from social media.

On Nov. 15, Huang addressed the recent controversies surrounding his personal life during a promotional event for his upcoming film, “The Wig Maker”. “Recently, some issues have caused distress to everyone. I am truly sorry,” he apologized. “I’ve read all your messages and will handle my personal matters properly. I sincerely apologize again.” He concluded by bowing deeply to the audience at the event.

Angelababy, 35, whose real name is Yang Ying, has built a successful career as a model, entrepreneur, investor, and singer since her debut in 2007. She is now regarded as one of China’s most prominent actresses.

Huang, 47, known for his roles in “The Return of the Condor Heroes”, “Shanghai Bund”, and “Summer’s Desire”, was in a five-year relationship with Angelababy before publicly confirming their romance in 2014.

The couple married in 2015 and welcomed their son, nicknamed Little Sponge, in 2017. However, their divorce was announced in January 2022, as reported by The Strait Times. Huang reportedly began dating Ye Ke shortly after the split.
