New Delhi:- The matter of the statement given by the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi in America, has reached the police. On the complaint of BJP leader Amarjeet Chhabra in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, an FIR has been registered in Civil Lines police station under Section 299 and 302 (BNS 103) of the Indian Penal Code on the charge of hurting the religious sentiments of the Sikh community.

On the other hand, Charanjit Singh Lovely, the convenor of the BJP Sikh cell in Delhi, has given a complaint letter to the Tilak Nagar police station. Against his statement regarding the abolition of reservation, Delhi BJP's Scheduled Tribe Front convenor CL Meena has lodged a complaint in the Parliament Street police station and the State President of the Scheduled Caste Front Mohanlal Gihara has lodged a complaint in the Punjabi Bagh police station.

Madhya Pradesh BJP has demanded legal action against Rahul for using abusive words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. State President Vishnudutt Sharma, State Incharge Dr. Mahendra Singh and Co-Incharge Satish Upadhyay reached Crime Branch Police Station MP Nagar in Bhopal on Thursday and submitted a complaint letter to register an FIR. Delhi State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that Rahul's statement has angered Sikhs as well as people of Scheduled Caste-Tribe category.
Let us tell you that Rahul Gandhi had said in America recently that Sikhs are not safe in India. He had also given a controversial statement regarding reservation. In Himachal also, BJP's Scheduled Caste Front state president Rakesh Dogra has given a request letter to register an FIR against Rahul Gandhi in Chhota Shimla police station.
