Fire breaks out in BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad’s house, fire brigade team takes charge
Desk: A fire broke out in the Delhi residence of BJP MP from Patna Sahib Ravi Shankar Prasad on Wednesday morning. Ravi Shankar Prasad’s official residence is located at 21 Mother Teresa Crescent Road in Lutyens Zone of Delhi. The fire incident occurred here at around 8:05 am on Wednesday. The fire department initially received information about the fire in Kothi No. 2, but upon investigation on the spot it was found to be Kothi No. 21, which is the residence of Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The fire started in a bed kept in a room of the house, seeing the flames rising, the fire brigade was immediately informed. Initially, the center of fire was found to be the bed itself, which has been extinguished. It was fortunate that no one was present in the room at that time, due to which a major accident was avoided. After receiving the call at 8.05 am, three fire brigade vehicles immediately reached the spot. Initially there was some confusion regarding the address, but the team soon reached the correct location (Kothi No. 21) and extinguished the fire. It is not yet known whether the fire broke out due to short circuit or there was some other reason behind it.
