Bokaro:A gas cylinder suddenly exploded at 5:45 pm on Tuesday evening in a warehouse near Siwandih Karbala ground in Marafari police station area. After this suddenly uncontrolled flames started rising. The entire area was shaken by the explosion of gas cylinders one after the other. Around a dozen gas cylinder explosions are reported. There was no loss of life or property in the incident. Four to five shops adjacent to the warehouse have been damaged.

The explosion incident took place in the UP Tent godown located near Karbala Chowk. The operators of the tent house are two brothers, Azhar and Mazhar. Local people informed Marafari Inspector Azad Khan and fire in-charge Ojha about the fire in the warehouse. As soon as information is received. Inspector Khan reached the spot with his team. As soon as the information was received, two vehicles of the fire brigade of Jharkhand government reached there and started controlling the fire. Seeing the increasing flames, Inspector Khan evacuated many residential houses around the warehouse. Historically, a large number of police forces have been deployed.
