Fire broke out in car showroom, 6 families trapped above were saved by neighbors with rope and stairs.

Indore. A major accident was averted on Friday morning in an apartment located in Scheme-136 of Indore, when a fire suddenly broke out in the showroom of electric vehicles located on the ground floor below. This incident happened around 8:15 in the morning, when the showroom was not even open yet.

Due to the fire, all the two-wheelers parked in the showroom were completely burnt to ashes. The fire and thick smoke also affected the flats above, putting the lives of six families living on the third floor of the apartment in danger. The way down the stairs was closed due to smoke and fire.

In the morning, when the smoke reached inside the flats, people sleeping there woke up and there was chaos. On looking down, it was found that there was a massive fire in the showroom and there was no way out.

As soon as the situation became serious, people living in another nearby multi immediately stepped in to help. They brought ladders and ropes from their homes and placed them on the parapet of the building and made a plan to get everyone out safely. After this, more than 20 people were taken out safely one by one.

During this time, local resident Shyam Dubey immediately informed the fire brigade, while the nearby people themselves started relief and rescue operations. Police team jawan Narendra Mandelia, who reached the spot, also cooperated in the relief work and helped in evacuating the trapped people safely.

Fortunately, the fire did not reach the apartment flats, due to which the household belongings of many families were saved safely. At present the cause of the fire has not been known and the investigation is ongoing.
