Delhi Hotel Fire: A case of fire has come to light in another hotel in the country’s capital Delhi. A fire broke out in a hotel located in Humayunpur village near Safdarjung Enclave on Thursday evening. As soon as information about the accident was received, several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. Rescue has been started on the spot.
There was a fire in the hotel due to this reason
According to Delhi Fire Services, information about fire in the basement of the hotel was received at 7.06 pm. According to initial information, the fire started in the furniture kept in the basement and the smoke spread within a short time. As soon as information about the incident was received, fire brigade personnel took swift action and did not allow the fire to spread beyond the basement.

Fear of people being trapped in hotel
It was feared that some people might be trapped in the hotel due to the fire, due to which relief and rescue operations were started immediately. Due to the promptness of the fire department, neither the fire was allowed to spread nor anyone was allowed to get injured.

Search continues for the cause of the fire
The cause of the fire is being investigated. According to initial information, there has been no major damage of any kind on the spot nor has any casualty been reported. There was chaos in the area after the incident but the situation was brought under control.

21 killed in Malviya Nagar hotel fire
A day earlier, a fire broke out in a hotel located in Malviya Nagar in South Delhi on Wednesday morning, in which about 21 people died on the spot. Among the dead were 11 foreign nationals, who were residents of Central Asia and African countries. 37 people were also injured in the accident, who were admitted to three hospitals including AIIMS and Max. There is a possibility of the death toll increasing as the condition of many people is critical.

According to Delhi Fire Service and local people, the fire started in the lower area of the hotel at 8.50 in the morning, which quickly reached the top. Many videos related to the accident also surfaced, in which people were seen jumping from a 5-storey building. To save them, the local people had spread mattresses on the ground. According to rescue forces officials, 40 people have been rescued so far. The condition of many people is critical.
