Canada Secondary School shooting: There was panic at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in Canada when suddenly firing started. According to reports, nine people were killed and 25 injured in a massive shootout that took place on Wednesday. According to local police, the suspect has been taken into custody, but they have declined to provide further details. Authorities have not provided any information about the victims or the motive for the attack. However, he said that updates will be shared after verification. Students from classes 7 to 12 study in this school.

In a statement, officials confirmed that the incident was still ongoing and several people were injured.

Police said an “active shooter” was involved in the shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School. “The person who fired the shot was also found dead with self-inflicted injuries on his body.”

“As of 1:20 p.m., Tumbler Ridge RCMP are on scene responding to a confirmed shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School,” local police said in a press release.

The condition of two people seriously injured in the firing is said to be critical and they have been sent to the hospital through airlift. There are 25 people injured in the firing who are being examined and monitored at the local medical center and are out of danger.

RCMP Superintendent Ken Floyd, North District commander, said they have identified the shooter, but are not releasing his identity at this time. He did not say how many victims of the firing incident were children and how many were adults. Also, no information was given about the weapon or weapons used for firing.
