Amarnath Yatra 2026: First batch left from Kashi… Different happiness seen on the faces of devotees

Amarnath Yatra From Varanasi: As soon as the Amarnath Yatra started for the holy darshan of Baba Barfani, the first batch of devotees left from the religious city of Kashi on Sunday. Under the aegis of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Seva Samiti, the first group of sevadars and devotees left for Kashmir through Howrah-Amritsar mail from Varanasi Cantt Railway Station.

Thousands of devotees left for Baba Amarnath’s darshan.

Like every year, this year too a large number of devotees are leaving from Kashi for the darshan of Baba Amarnath. According to the committee, thousands of devotees from Kashi participate in the Amarnath Yatra. Devotees will first reach Amritsar, from where they will travel to Pahalgam via Jammu. After this the journey to the holy cave will be completed on foot.

Shri Kashi Vishwanath Seva Samiti has been engaged in the service of Amarnath pilgrims for the last 26 years. The committee makes arrangements for accommodation, food and other necessary facilities for about 300 devotees during the yatra. This year also the committee is providing support to a large number of pilgrims for darshan.

A group of 80 to 90 sevadars will engage in service work.

Samiti’s sevadar Dilip Singh ‘Bunty’ told that a group of 80 to 90 sevadars is going on the yatra. Of these, a group of 10 sevadars will go to Punjab under the leadership of him, Vivek Srivastava and Kuldeep Tyagi, while about 70 sevadars will reach Chandanbari directly via Jammu via Begumpura Express and will engage in service work from there.

He said that the committee is fully prepared to provide all possible assistance to the devotees during the Amarnath Yatra. Extensive arrangements have been made for food, accommodation and other arrangements for the devotees participating in the yatra.

Seva Abhiyaan is getting support from public representatives and social organizations

This service campaign of the committee is also getting support from public representatives and social organizations. The event is receiving support from many dignitaries including Mayor Ashok Tiwari, MLA Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, MLA Saurabh Srivastava, Minister Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’, Shanti Lal Jain. Arrangements for paan and sweets for the devotees will be made by Chhakkan Dada, Rajesh Chaurasia and Nandini family.
