First IPS, now IAS, Delhi’s ACP Apoorva Verma achieved 42nd rank in UPSC.
In the result of Civil Services Examination 2025 of Union Public Service Commission, many such candidates have achieved success (Apoorva Verma IAS) who have already administrative Employed in services. Apoorva Verma’s name is also included in this list. IPS officer Apoorva Verma, posted as ACP in Delhi, has now secured a place for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) by securing 42nd rank in UPSC this time.
Apoorva is a resident of Champaran, Bihar.
Apoorva Verma is originally from West Champaran district of Bihar. His family currently lives in Bokaro, Jharkhand. His father Ajit Kumar Verma is an engineer at Bokaro Steel Plant.
Apoorva did her schooling from Delhi Public School, Bokaro. After this he completed his engineering studies from National Institute of Technology Manipur.
IPS officer was made in 2022
After engineering, Apoorva started preparing for civil services and got selected in the Indian Police Service (IPS) by passing the UPSC exam for the first time in the year 2022. Presently he is working as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Delhi.
Although his goal was to become an IAS (Apoorva Verma IAS). For this purpose, along with his job, he again continued preparing for the Civil Services Examination.
Achieved 42nd rank by re-examination
With continuous hard work and determination, Apoorva Verma appeared for the UPSC Civil Services Examination again and this time she performed brilliantly and achieved All India Rank 42. With this rank he has now been selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
