First message of Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, said- ‘The sacrifice of the martyrs will not go in vain’

The ongoing war between Iran and Israel entered its 13th day on Thursday. Meanwhile, Iran’s new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued his first message to the nation after assuming office. In this message he talked about taking revenge of those killed in the war and said that the sacrifice of the martyrs will not go in vain.

Let us tell you, Mojtaba Khamenei has recently been appointed the new Supreme Leader of Iran after the assassination of his father and former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He has not appeared in public since his appointment. His message Thursday was read out by a news anchor on Iran’s state television, with Khamenei not seen on camera.

In his first message, Mojtaba Khamenei demanded to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed and called it an important step to put pressure against America. He said that the American military bases present in the area should be closed immediately, otherwise they can be attacked.

Khamenei also said that Iran would continue to take action against its enemies and that those killed in the war would be avenged. He warned that if Iran does not receive compensation for its war losses, it will be compensated from enemy property or equal destruction will be caused.

This statement has come at a time when the conflict between Iran, America and Israel has reached its peak. At the same time, Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian has also put forward three conditions to end the war. These include recognition of Iran’s legitimate rights, guarantees against future attacks and compensation for war damages.

Amidst the increasing tension in the Middle East, this first message of Mojtaba Khamenei is being considered very important for regional politics and global diplomacy.
