Flood of faith or storm of traffic? Maharashtra stuck in 40 KM traffic jam, watch video

These days, an amazing scene of faith is being seen in Dharashiv district of Maharashtra, where lakhs of devotees have gathered to have darshan of Kuldevi Maa Yedeshwari. Due to this religious event organized in Marathwada region, there is huge crowd on the roads and the situation has become so bad that the traffic on major routes has been completely affected. People are facing a lot of problems especially due to about 40 kilometer long jam on Solapur-Dhule Highway.

Sudden increase in the number of devotees

The reason for this huge crowd is the annual Yedeshwari fair, which is held every year in the month of Chaitra. This time this event is going on from March 30 to April 7, in which the Palki Mahotsav has special significance on the occasion of Chaitra Purnima. During this time, the number of devotees suddenly increased, due to which the arrangements broke down. According to estimates, this time more than 15 lakh people have reached here, due to which the traffic system has come under complete pressure.

Drone video surfaced

Horrific pictures of this jam are visible in the drone video surfaced on social media. Long queues of vehicles are visible as far as the eye can see on the highway. The vehicles are seen crawling slowly, which clearly shows how serious the jam is. This situation is not only creating problems for the common passengers, but many special and VIP people have also fallen prey to it.

According to reports, a BJP leader also got stuck in this jam, who had to wait on the road for about two and a half hours. From this it can be estimated how challenging the situation has become. The administration is continuously trying to control the situation and smooth the traffic, but the arrangements seem to be weakening in front of the huge number of devotees.
