Flying taxi will enter soon, will reach speed of 250 kilometers in one hour

Meanwhile, a new air taxi has been showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, named “Zero”. This air taxi is specially designed to deal with the traffic congestion in cities and travel faster.
Zero Air Taxi is based on eVTOL i.e. Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing technology, and it is planned to be launched from Bengaluru by 2028. After this, work will be done to introduce it in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and other major cities also.
The maximum speed of air taxi will be this
The maximum speed of this air taxi is 250 kilometers per hour, which means it can cover a distance of up to 250 kilometers in an hour. For example, the distance from Delhi to Dehradun is approximately 255 kilometers, which this air taxi can cover in just one hour. However, its main objective is to travel only short distances of 20 to 30 kilometers, so as to save time in congested areas.
So many people can board the air taxi
The Zero Air Taxi has the capacity to seat 6 passengers and 1 pilot and can lift a weight of up to 680 kg. It has been designed in such a way that it offers solutions to the problems of urban transportation and can reduce the problem of pollution and traffic jams.
The fare of this air taxi will be equal to the current premium taxi service. However, in future there is a plan to make its fare as affordable as auto-rickshaw, so that more and more people can use it.
