Food Delivery India 2026: India’s three leading online food delivery companies Swiggy, MagicPin and Zomato have once again seen growth in October-December. Industry officials said the increase in orders was driven by festive demand, affordable offers and a growing user base. With continued investment in marketing, product innovation and value-driven offerings, the sector is expected to maintain its growth momentum in the coming quarters. With strong growth and improved performance across all markets. While mature markets such as Delhi-NCR remained stagnant, the company reported over 40 per cent growth in total order value in other cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The company’s average monthly transaction user base grew 22 percent year-on-year to 24.3 million, while total orders rose from 230 million to 294 million during the period.
Zomato’s food delivery business also recorded a strong growth trend during the quarter under review. In the December quarter, the company reported a net order value of Rs 9,846 crore, a year-on-year growth of 16.6 percent. The sector is expected to continue to grow in the coming quarters as companies continue to invest in marketing, product innovation and value-based offerings that appeal to consumers.
