Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal seems to be stuck in a new trouble. Public interest litigation has been filed against Kejriwal and his close ones. In this petition, action has been demanded for contempt of court. In fact, in the petition filed in the Delhi High Court, Kejriwal has been accused of uploading the footage of the cross-examination with Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma on social media. In this case, a demand has been made to take contempt action against Kejriwal as well as Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh. It has been said that the recording of the proceedings was published as a deliberate and calculated strategy in violation of the VC rules of the Delhi High Court.

In the petition, the court has been requested to conduct a detailed investigation in this matter and appropriate action should be ordered. Advocate Vaibhav Singh has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court demanding contempt action against Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh and others.

Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma rejected Kejriwal’s petition

Let us tell you that on Monday (April 20), Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma rejected Arvind Kejriwal’s petition. Kejriwal had demanded that he be removed from this case. In her decision she said, “I will not recuse myself from this case.”

Meanwhile, in his ex-post on Tuesday, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said, “Justice Swarnakanta ji’s children work under Tushar Mehta. Tushar Mehta ji is a CBI lawyer. Justice Madam herself goes to RSS programs. In such a situation, how can impartiality and justice be expected from her?”

AAP leader Anurag Dhanda said, “This is a question in every person’s mind whether Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma will be able to take decision in Arvind Kejriwal’s case without any bias? People are asking us what happened, she would have left it, some other judge would have heard it. The decision had to be taken as per the law. Doubts are being raised in the minds of people about this also, what was the problem in recusing?”
