A video of this has gone viral on social media, in which Weston McKennie and Ricardo Pepi also joined him to celebrate, later Pulisic also explained the reason behind doing so. Pulisic joins the few athletes who have been adopting this trend in recent times. Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers did the move after scoring a touchdown during Sunday's contest. Still, Bowers said it was inspired by UFC fighter Jon Jones, who did it during UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden. Talking about her decision to take up the dance, the 26-year-old insisted that she didn't do it under any political influence and it just seemed like fun, so she did it. According to Goal.com, he said:
“I saw everyone in the NFL do it yesterday, I saw Jon Jones do it, and we were just having a little fun. I thought it was a really fun dance. Obviously, it's the 'Trump dance,' but It was just a dance that everyone was doing, and I thought it was not a political dance. I saw a lot of people doing it. I thought it was funny, so I enjoyed it.”
