It was informed by the District Agriculture Officer that till the month of February in Ambedkar Nagar district, urea production was 52993 MT against the target of 38825 MT, 15644 MT against the DAP target of 12919 MT, 9351 MT against the NPK target of 4055 MT, SSP’s target was 11381. Against the target of 22166 MT and MOP target of 603 MT, 514 MT has been available, out of which, after distribution, currently the cooperative and private sector together have urea 10135 MT, DAP 4803 MT, NPK 3071 MT, SSP 10340. MT and MOP 182 MT is available. There is adequate availability of urea and phosphate fertilizers in the district.
To get fertilizer, farmers should bring their Aadhaar card and holding book/khatauni and get fertilizer as per the recommended quantity relative to the cultivated land as per the agricultural land mentioned in it. Farmer brothers are requested to get fertilizers from their nearest fertilizer selling centers at fixed price through POS machine.
