‘For how long will this Chief Minister remain?’ A statement by PM Modi created panic in the Congress camp, taunts from Karnataka to Kerala

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again launched a scathing attack on the governments of Congress ruled states. While addressing an election rally in Karnataka, PM Modi made serious allegations and said that no state government of Congress is able to return to power again. He claimed that within a few months of the formation of the government, huge public resentment and ‘anti-incumbency wave’ starts against the Congress.

PM’s taunt on chair war in Karnataka

Taking a dig at the internal strife of the Karnataka government, PM Modi said that Congress only knows how to betray. According to him, there is no chapter on governance i.e. good governance in Congress’s ‘book of power’. Referring to Karnataka, he said that for the last three years, instead of solving the problems of the people, most of the government’s time has been spent in settling mutual disputes. The PM taunted, “Here it is not even decided how long this Chief Minister will remain or whether others will get a chance or not.” The BJP leaders present on the stage could not stop smiling at his statement.

However, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar rejected these claims of the PM. Shivakumar hit back and said that no chair is shaking in Karnataka, all the chairs are stable. He said that he could not understand what the Prime Minister was looking at.

There is also a siege regarding Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

PM Modi did not stop here, he also targeted the ‘ecosystem’ of Congress regarding the political situation in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. He said that during the process of government formation in Tamil Nadu, the Congress ecosystem sitting in Delhi was misleading the country. Giving the example of Kerala, he cheekily taunted that there is complete majority there, then why is the government not being formed? The PM said that the leaders there are not able to decide whether to adopt the two and a half year formula or the ‘Five Chief Ministers’ formula of one year each.

Questions raised on the condition of Himachal and Telangana

Attacking the working style of Congress, PM Modi alleged that this party works to stab its own leaders in the back. Giving examples of Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Karnataka, he said that now the same game is going to happen in Kerala. Expressing concern over the economic condition of Himachal Pradesh, the PM said that the government there is not even able to pay salaries to the employees. Referring to Telangana, he alleged that farmers there are being forced to commit suicide. These sharp expressions of PM have created heat in the politics from South to North.
