For the first time Bullet, Classic and Hunter made a record, so many units were sold

Desk: Royal Enfield, popular for mid-size cruiser motorcycles, is currently performing well. The segment leader company has sold a record 10,71,809 units of vehicles in the year 2025. This is the first time that this company has crossed the sales mark of 10 lakh units in a single year in the domestic market. Sales of 10.7 lakh units in 2025 means 2,14,431 more units sold year-on-year (YoY) and a strong YoY growth of 25%. The company also exported 1,32,132 motorcycles last year, which is 36% more on an annual basis.

Currently, Royal Enfield has 14 models in the domestic market, which include Bullet 350, Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350, Goan Classic 350, Scram 440 with 443cc engine, 452cc Himalayan 450 and Guerilla 450, 650cc twins (Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650), Classic 650, Bear 650, Super Meteor. 650 and Shotgun 650.

  • Royal Enfield’s wholesale data for the last 13 years shows that 2025 is the third consecutive year when the company has crossed the 8 lakh units mark. For the first time in 2018, annual sales crossed 8 lakhs. But next year it declined by 17% and sales remained at 6,90,913 units. In Covid-affected CY2020, it further fell to the lowest level of 5,38,889 units.

    After this, the company made a strong comeback due to increase in demand for new models and premium, more powerful motorcycles. Demand has increased by 28% to 7,03,156 units in CY2022, increased by 17% to 8,22,295 units in CY2023, increased by 4% to 8,57,378 units in CY2024 and now sales have reached a new record level of more than 10 lakh in CY2025. If we look at the sales for 12 months of 2025, the monthly dispatch was more than 1 lakh units for three consecutive months from August to October. In October, Royal Enfield had its highest ever monthly wholesale sales, which stood at 1,16,844 units.

    The company was one of the first companies in the Indian automobile industry to announce that it would pass on the full benefit of the GST 2.0 rate reduction to its customers. Under this, the company reduced the prices of its best-selling 350cc category motorcycles by up to Rs 22,000.
