For the first time in 38 years… Manav Suthar made a record by taking 6 wickets in his debut test.

In the Mullanpur Test, the Indian team bundled out Afghanistan for 152 in the first innings. The Afghan team set out to take its innings forward with a score of 113/5. She could add only 39 runs to her score yesterday (June 7). Manav Suthar dismissed 3 batsmen today (June 8). In this way, he has created a series of records by taking 6 wickets in his debut Test innings itself. He has become the first Indian bowler since 1988 to take 6 wickets in his debut Test innings.

Last time this feat was done by Narendra Hirwani. He made his debut 38 years ago in the Chennai Test against West Indies. In this match, Hirwani took 8 wickets for 61 runs in the first innings of West Indies, which is also the best bowling figure of an Indian bowler in the debut Test innings. After this Suthar (6/33) has got his name registered. In this matter, Suthar has left behind Abid Ali (6/55) and Dilip Joshi (6/103).
