For the first time, MLC final on the West Coast of America: Oakland Coliseum will be a new cricket ground, the decisive match will be held on July 18.

Auckland: The Major League Cricket (MLC) 2026 playoffs will be played at the Oakland Coliseum from July 15 and the final match on July 18. This will be the first time that the league’s post-season matches will be played on the West Coast of the United States. The fourth season will run from June 18 to July 18. It will start in Grand Prairie, Texas, after which the matches will be played in different grounds in California. The Coliseum will also host regular-season matches from June 24 to June 28. Before the playoffs to be held in mid-July, all six teams of the league will face each other in eight matches. An important point of this season is that Los Angeles Knight Riders have got a permanent home ground in the form of Knight Riders Cricket Field located in Pomona. Matches will be played on this ground from July 1 to July 5.

Johnny Grave, MLC Chief Executive, said, “The enthusiasm our fans have shown at the Championship Finals in Grand Prairie over the past three years has been tremendous; every game has sold out tickets and created an unforgettable atmosphere for both players and supporters. As our fan base continues to grow across the country, we are excited to do something new and bring the same tremendous energy of the playoffs to the Oakland Coliseum. Last summer, the Bay Area hosted the Cricket World Cup. “There was tremendous passion for the game, and we look forward to welcoming fans to an even bigger celebration of the game with both regular season matches and the MLC Championship final on the West Coast.”
